Bezel shoulders step down from the stone in even geometric tiers, flanked by baguettes set in straight channels. Everything is rectilinear; there is not a curve in the piece.

Built in platinum, which is period-correct and holds a crisp edge better than gold. Step cuts belong here — the design is drawn from the same geometry the cutter used.
