Garnet

Not one stone but a family — tsavorite green, demantoid with its horsetail inclusions, spessartite orange, rhodolite and almandine red, and garnets that change colour with the light. Demantoid disperses light more strongly than diamond, which few outside the trade know. Ours come from Tanzania, Mali, Nigeria, Madagascar and Russia, the home of the classic demantoid. Viewings are by appointment in Kuwait City.
