Independent grading
Where a stone carries a report from a recognised independent laboratory, that report travels with the stone, and the laboratory and its number appear on the stone's page. Where a report leaves something undetermined — or a stone came to us without one — we say so plainly rather than fill the gap.
Origin, identified
Where the laboratory can determine it, we state the geographic origin of the stone — a meaningful part of both its beauty and its worth.
Treatment, disclosed
Many of our stones are unheated and untreated. Where any treatment exists, it is disclosed plainly. We believe transparency is the foundation of trust.
