Tourmalines

The widest colour range of any gemstone species, and the reason this house began with it. Tourmaline runs from indicolite blue and lagoon teal through chrome green and rubellite pink to bi-colour and watermelon crystals that hold two colours in one stone — most of ours from Afghanistan, others from Namibia, Mozambique and Tanzania. Its colour opens up across the crystal, which is why tourmaline is so often cut long. Viewings are by appointment in Kuwait City.
