Crossing Collar
A rigid collar whose two terminals cross at the front of the throat, overlapping and offset so they pass rather than meet, each carrying a stone. A fine line of pavé runs on the inner face of the upper terminal only, so it flashes as the collar turns.
The crossing is the clasp. There is no visible catch anywhere on the piece.
