Chevron Solitaire
The shank splits at each shoulder into two arms that diverge, run straight, and meet at sharp points above and below the stone, forming a rhombic frame around it. Two triangular voids are left open at either side.
Every claw wraps a corner rather than pinching a facet edge — a shield or trillion corner in a rounded claw is negligent work, and the voids are the design, not a saving in metal.
